FINALY after 12 days I manage to solve the problem , was far from easy: I found 2 diferent causes for the fuel pump malfunction: 1- the 5 wired plug on top of the fuel pump was defective, the plastic safety ears were gone years ago, the special quad-ring that prevents moisture inside was
This is my first post at this forum, greetings to all, I have Kia Ceed 2008 1.4 DOHC (Petrol+LPG) with 160.000km on. This problem only happens on cold start, when the car is not driven for 1-2 days. When I start the car the engine is working very bad like its doesn't have enough power, or pulling enough fuel, and the car doesn't react on
My Kia ceed 2.0 crdi sport 2009, has recently just started to blow only cold air out of the vents, engine heats up as normal, air con is working fine albeit only cold air. Could this be just a thermostat problem or something else, if thermostat how easy are they to fit. Thanks Edited by: Tonyclancs. Sort by Oldest first.
Stopped for a coffee, rejoined the motorway and could then not set the cruise control again. I could turn it on and the light was lit in the dash, but there was then no further operation - I couldn't set the speed or do anything. The rear passenger door won't open at all, central locking sounds like it is working, as all other doors open and lock fine. Boot also won't unlock from central locking and only operates from key fob. I'm trying to avoid a costly garage visit if I can, service and MOT due soon. TK45. Save.
2012 Kia Ceed rear passenger door and boot won't unlock. My passenger door and boot of my Kia Ceed will not u lock. This is an infrequent issue, we find keeping the front passenger door open and hitting the lock/unlock car key button til it opens to be our only option. We need to access the back of car for out child seat and to access the pram
Update from Jan 31, 2016 It turns out that it was a parking sensor that went bad. $500 and a week without my car. The 2013 Kia Optima has 9 problems reported for engine won't turn over, won't
Knocking when cold and warm. What baffles me the most is that it run as it should. You wouldn't notice if you were deaf so to say. The noise is the same no matter what, except that the tempo changes with the RPM. Full throttle, no throttle, idle, engine braking, doesn't matter, still the same. 5.
