I wonder if it's possible to remove the "landing pad not clear" check Specifically it seems to check for a path to the sky. This makes it impossible to build a landing pad underground If it's possible, then it'd be reeeally cool to fly your ship into a cave entrance and land on your personal landing pad Currently building a new landing pad, to my surprise a NPC landed! they just circle my base round and round and round but dont land. ive tried having 2 landing pads 4 landing pads 1 landing pad ive tried moving them. nothing works why wont they land? its so annoying they just go round andr ound and round driving me crazy Alright so I just spent considerable time building another landing pad. Not but a few seconds after it's built and some foreign spaceship lands on it. So I wait & then it finally leaves. I take off, and then I find another one immediately landing on the landing pad. This keeps happening, one after another, every time I try to land on it. In situations like that, you could either swim for hours in order to check out the various sections of under water, or if you could land on water, simply fly to where a marker is etc. and land. My saying there HAS to be this feature was more like, there really should be. stlfenix47 • 8 yr. ago. Madbear1 • 1 yr. ago. Have 3 setup like this practically guarantees they land on either end, and only one lands at a time. If you've found one using an Emergency Broadcast Receiver (bought on space stations plus 1 free a week (Spoiler until you've met Nada). When you're sure you've found a DERELICT, then there are landing pads near the bridge. You can see blue rings for landing pad effects that turn green when you're ready to land. From my subjective observations, I believe it tries to put you on the first constructed landing pad belonging to your base, but for some reason that doesn't always work. If there is no landing pad, it isn't clear what the calculation is in relation to, but it appears to be focused around you, rather than the base computer. iT8w.
